ASSIGNMENT 1- MAKING OF E-WALLPAPER

The steps that been used to make my e-wallpaper

STEP 1

• I used the photoshop cs5 and click the file > open and select new file. Then, I set an international paper which is the width is 297mm and 210mm to became a landscape paper.

STEP 2

• I make a new layer then I drag the original picture that I got from "Google" image. Later, I decide to make the picture as a background by scale it more bigger as a landscape A4 size. By improvise a bit by put the effects like outer glow for the background picture.

    STEP 3

• Next, I select the shape the cloud from "custom shape tool" and make as the title from august intake 2012. I choose the black color of the shape and move it at the left on the top of the picture.

STEP 4

• After that, I choose the shape of banner from custom shape tool again as a signage for the information such as day,date,time,venue and the faculty. I take 3 different colors like yellow, red and green because it a bright color and suitable for the signage.

STEP 5

• I put the information in each of the signage. I play with different style and effects like outer glow, color overlay, inner shadow and many more to make the it more attractive and colorful.  

STEP 6

• Lastly, I adding a few word to make the main idea of this poster and emphasize on "MMU FOM OPEN DAY".  I adjust the word and make it like upper arc and put the word with red color to make it aggregate and alive. 
• After finished, I save it with 3 different file like PSD, JPEG and PNG file.
